LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (LAX)
TEMPORARY SOUTH COMPLEX RUNWAY 25R/7L CLOSURE

LAX will temporarily close the south inboard runway (25R/7L) to complete remaining runway reconstruction work at night from 1 AM to 6:30 AM on the following dates:

• June 17 - 24, 2018 (Sunday to Sunday)
• June 28 - 30, 2018 (Thursday to Saturday)

Persons living near LAX may notice a change in aircraft flight activity and noise during these temporary runway closures. When the south inboard runway (25R/7L) temporarily closes during these periods, more aircraft are expected to use the south outboard runway (25L/7R) for departure and arrival operations. In addition, some aircraft operations are expected to shift from the south to the north runway complex. The FAA plans to continue conducting Over-Ocean Operations at LAX during these closures between 12 AM and 6:30 AM if weather and other operational conditions permit.
