LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (LAX)

TEMPORARY NORTH COMPLEX INBOARD RUNWAY 24L/6R CLOSURE

  

 

LAX will temporarily close the inboard runway 24L/6R to facilitate work relating to the North Airfield Exit Taxiways Project between 12:30 AM and 6:30 AM on:

  • August 3 & 4, 2024, Saturday and Sunday

Persons living near LAX may notice a change in aircraft flight activity and noise during the closure of Runway 24L/6R as more aircraft are expected to use the north outboard runway (24R/6L) for departure and arrival operations. In addition, some aircraft operations may shift from the north to the south runway complex.

 

LAX will continue conducting Over-Ocean Operations between midnight and 6:30 AM during this closure if weather and other operational conditions permit.
