LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (LAX)

TEMPORARY SOUTH COMPLEX RUNWAY 25R/7L CLOSURES

 

 

LAX will temporarily close the south inboard runway (25R/7L) to perform maintenance between 1 AM and 6:30 AM on the following dates:

 

  • August 9 - 11, 2024, Friday to Monday
  • August 26 - 29, 2024, Monday to Thursday

 

Persons living near LAX may notice a change in aircraft flight activity and noise during these temporary runway closures. When the south inboard runway (25R/7L) temporarily closes during these periods, more aircraft are expected to use the south outboard runway (25L/7R) for departure operations.

 

The FAA plans to continue conducting Over-Ocean Operations at LAX between 12 AM and 6:30 AM on these dates if weather and other operational conditions permit.
