SOUTH COMPLEX INBOARD RUNWAY 25R/7L CLOSURE

LAX will temporarily close the south inboard runway (25R/7L) to perform maintenance on May 17 from 1 AM to 1 PM..

Persons living near LAX may notice a change in aircraft flight activity and noise during this temporary runway closure. When the south inboard runway (25R/7L) temporarily closes during this timeframe, more aircraft are expected to use the south outboard runway (25L/7R) for departure and arrival operations. In addition, some aircraft operations are expected to shift from the south to the north runway complex. The FAA plans to continue conducting Over-Ocean Operations at LAX between 12 AM and 6:30 AM on this date if weather and other operational conditions permit.
