LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (LAX) 

TEMPORARY SOUTH COMPLEX RUNWAY 25R/7L CLOSURES

 

 

LAX will temporarily close the south inboard runway (25R/7L) to perform maintenance on the following dates and times:

  • June 6, 2025, Friday, 1 AM – 6 AM
  • June 13 & 20, 2025, Fridays, 1 AM – 6:30 AM
  • June 27, 2025, Friday, 2 AM – 5 AM

Persons living near LAX may notice a change in aircraft flight activity and noise during these temporary runway closures. When the south inboard runway (25R/7L) temporarily closes during this period, more aircraft are expected to use the south outboard runway (25L/7R) for departure operations.

 

The FAA plans to continue conducting Over-Ocean Operations at LAX between 12 AM and 6:30 AM on these dates if weather and other operational conditions permit.
